Overview
About Me
I'm a rookie traveller. I mean, rookie in living... Thirsty to learn and understand more about mostly everything.
Trying to live life without overcomplicating, which is new to me...
Born in Sines, Portugal, a beautiful little city that I recommend you all to visit when you have the chance, mostly during Festival Músicas do Mundo (FMM). I'll not be able to host you since I don't have my own house yet, but I would love to hang out and show you all that Sines and Porto Covo has to offer! When you come here, send me a message and we can meet.
I love to eat all types of different foods from around the world, drink some beers and chat like any other
Portuguese.
I also like sports, played roller hockey all my youth, stoped at 19 yo, and now I play padel and sometimes football/soccer. Update: I came back to playing roller hockey eheh
I'm a kind of introvert but not too much, just take some time to open up.
On free time I take photos on footbal/soccer games. You can check my Instragam if you like: @brissosfotos. It has some photos of the GOAT xD
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Want to explore the world and meet bunch of people from different backgrounds meanwhile I share back my culture and customs.
Also want to improve my social skills and learn to be more genuine and real with my emotions.
Meet people, have experiences together all that clichê true thing. Clichê is clichê for some reason. It's because it's good ahahah

Music, Movies, and Books
I tend to not have a favorite something... In the same area my tastes vary from time to time.
But I can say some movies, books and musics I like, and marked me in some way.
In terms of animation I'll always go for 'Brother Bear', I don't rewatch it much nowadays because I don't want to get snotty from crying.
'Call me by your name' was a movie that helped me open my mind, especially at a young age, when I still had some prejudices instilled by the environment around me . I've fallen in love by Luca Guadagnino since than.
'Catch me if you can' is a movie that I always have fun watching.
Love the Cornetto trilogy from Edgar Wright, 'Hot Fuzz' being my favorite.
Talk about trilogy... the 'Before' trilogy from Richard Linklater is very good too, although I haven't watched the third one yet ahahah (update: I watched it, and I wish I didn't) and LOTR of course.
Honorable Mentions: 'Dead Poets Society', 'Silence of the Lambs', Shrek 1 and 2, Jaws, Apocalypse Now, City of God, La Haine, The Great Dictator, Schindler's List, La Vida es Bella, I'll mention some more when we talk about it.
Books, I like Harry Potter and LOTR like everyone. Also like António Pedro Moreira, an Portuguese author who writes travel books. Reading ' Livro do desassossego' from Fernando Pessoa.
I love every type of music, I really do. I go from Beatles to Mac Miller and some Portuguese musicians. But I do not listen to it when I'm alone. I guess it distracts me. I prefer to listen to podcasts. Specially when I'm working. Mostly Portuguese ones.
Note: I had help from my Letterboxd account to remember my top choices eheh
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I feel really proud to have the same beautiful girlfriend since 15 yo, that to me is an amazing thing, being able to learn and grow with her.
Also I have left a typical 9-to-5 job and been able to freelance photo editing from home.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Portuguese of course.
Also I take some photos, not an expert but I can share what I know. I can share somethings on Photoshop and Lightroom too.
I'm good with flags, we can play atlas eheh
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not a very good chef, but I can teach you some Portuguese meals.
Also can take you some pictures if you like, update your profile picture.
