About Me

Hey I'm Luise and I'm about to move to Leeds for an erasmus semester. Well, I always thought I'd be too old for erasmus, but now, eventually at the end of my studies, I'll give it a try. Im curious to experience the city, the student life and the area around Leeds and maybe you can help me to avoid the notorious erasmus parties :)
I've been living in Leipzig for six years now to study Art and English as a teacher trainee. In the meantime I have spend six month in the UK, five months in Australia, travelled to the US...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to have a good and interesting time and I am convinced that each moment is a new opportunity!

We are always shaped by our experiences - the people we meet and the opportunities we take - I would be happy if our encounter is mutually advantageous and inspiring!

I always made the best and most exciting experiences when I couch surfed on a journey. I'm happy I haven't listened to the people who tried to tell me that it's dangerous to stay with a stranger.

Interests

art & design, music, reading, travelling, swimming, running, meditation, flea markets, cycling, hiking, going out at night, cooking (vegetarian)

I am a main organizer for a festival for graffiti, street art and mixed media art - the IBUg

Whenever I have the time I do internships at museums and galleries

Till lately I worked as a guide in a gallery

Also I'm into graphic design and work in this field besides my studies

Feminism and equity is a big topic for me!

And I have a great love for the English language because every word seems to tell a story and tells something about Britain's history and beyond - happy to study this language :)
