ABOUT ME

I am from Colombia, and I have been living in Puerto Rico since 2005, also known as "La Isla del Encanto". I like very much this place, and the culture is very similar to the one in my country.
I like to travel, and I have been very lucky with that. I have had several opportunities in the university and job to do it. I am very glad to know places like Mexico, Ecuador, United States, Hungary, Germany, between others. I hope to increase this list and share experiences in this community, the CS family :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just starting in CS, but I think that it is an interesting community. I have offered my couch to other people before, recommended by friends of mine. But in the new era of technology, a "profile" is almost a good point of reference. I hope to be more involved in the community, and provide with help to people that are planning to visit the city where I am living.

Music, Movies, and Books

My Favorite authors are Thomas Harris and Stephen King. The first motivation was Carrie of S. King, later I read the trilogy of Dr. Lecter by T. Harris (I am planning to read Hannibal Rising soon). The last book that I read was On Writing of S. King, and right now I am reading Dolores Claiborne of the same author.
I am also enjoy reading about science, Stephen Hawking style. I have been reading The Emperor's New Mind of Roger Penrose, it is very interesting, but a dense book. I like it.
I watch all kind of movies, not preferences. In terms of music, I like a lot new age, rock, and electronic. I also like salsa, merengue, and some vallenato and regueton. Some groups that I like are Faithless, Coldplay, REM, Gipsy Kings, Residente Calle 13, etc.

I confess, I am a technology geek. I like to read a lot consumer electronics reviews, and identify how new technological advances are included in products. I like to do product selections for me or my friends. A small part of my job is based on this, the fun part is that I do not have to pay for it!
