Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in a small city of Brazil. Since I spent my whole childhood in a simple and unknown region of my country, I always wanted to have the opportunity to meet different places, cultures, people and ways of living, so I started to travel around. I already have been to some countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Italy, France, US, United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland and so on. The first thing that I seek when I arrive in a new country is to understand the routine of the locals, trying to learn with them and to bring home some interesting and exciting experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Couchsurfing because I want to be as close as possible to the people of the cities I come to visit, sharing experiences, having fun and making new friends. It is true that a second reason why I'm Couchsurfing is to save money to do other things such as travel more and to pay to enter in places (museums, temples) that are not free to enter.
Interests
Sports (I play soccer, run and I'm learning to roller skating and jumping the rope), movies (I really like to watch and talk about it), podcasts, technology (since I'm an engineer), life experiences, music (I play guitar and try to sing), food (I would try everything in the world if I could) and languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Brazilian Music (MPB, Samba, Rock and Roll), Classic Rock, Indie Rock, R&B.
Some singers and groups I enjoy: Elis Regina (Brazilian singer), Chico Buarque (Brazilian singer and composer), Molejo (Brazilian group), Eric Clapton, Santana, Dire Straits, The Strokes, The Killers, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys, Queen, Bee Gees.
Movies: Directors like Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher, Francis Copolla, Stanley Kubrick.
Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams), Comics (Watchmen, Batman), etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As a member of my College Union we developed an event to raise books to donate to public schools all over the city. We raised around 2.5k books and distributed them to five different schools (3 for kids and 2 for teenagers).
Teach, Learn, Share
Teaching Experiences: During my five years of graduation I taught languages (Portuguese and Spanish) to people in a public course driven to students who couldn't afford a private course to attend college. Sometimes I also taught Mathematics, Literature and English.
Learning: Nowadays I'm trying to improve my language skills (English, Spanish and Italian, I'm a beginner in this last one), music skills (playing guitar and singing) and sports, since I'm also learning to roller skating and jumping the rope.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my life experiences as a Brazilian citizen (local dishes, way of living, culture), my languages skills, music skills and how to have fun skills, I also can help them with housekeeping.
Finally, I can provide some funny and interesting moments, since we could learn with each other, talking about different subtitles, becoming friends and in the future provide a cozy place to stay in my home country.
