Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting people. Surfing once in a while (will certainly find a balance between them soon). I have been in a CS party, but it's not a kind of thing I'm habitual actually. Shame on me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted - since I'm on CS - several people from different parts of the world. Then I surfed a couch of a guy I didn't know, and also went to Italy surf the couch of a girl I met for the first time hosting her and her friends. And I don't think I can tell what is the best kind of experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock (in its various expressions, either hard rock or indie, punk, classic...), electronic, pop, MPB (Brazilian Popular Music), reggae, and I am always curious about different cultures, and traditional musical manifestations of each regions or countries. To mention some of my favourites, Beatles, Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Stereophonics, Other Lives, Raul Seixas, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Los Hermanos, Ramones, Janis Joplin, Florence & The Machine, Amy Winehouse, Bob Marley, Metallica, Jimi Hendrix, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Prodigy, Deadmau5, Infected Mushroom.

Movies: The Life Of David Gale, Clockwork Orange, Crash, Butterfly Effect and many others I do not remember now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Breathtaking view from the Inis Mor and Cliffs of Moher (Ireland), beautiful green lanscapes from midwest of Brazil, amazing beaches from the Brazilian coast (especially in the south). Incredible performances by Pearl Jam, Paul McCartney, AC/DC are also on this list. And I have so much more to discover...

Teach, Learn, Share

Every single person has their typical way of acting in every situation, their unique sense of humour, their life experience, cultural values according to their social circle, work, village, city, country, trips, habits. Using this point of view, it is easy to notice how we do not know enough about anything. It is an eternal learning, and I am sure I can contribute, as well as I should always learn with people around me.
