My name is Luka, I'm 36 and I'm coming from Rijeka in Croatia and currently in Vienna to attend a programming one month course.
I’ ve been working as a school teacher, a mechanical engineer on worldwide merchant ships, a bartender, and, especially in the past during the summer, I was transforming in an easygoing traveller.

Being curious to visit different places and learning something new about different cultures and their way of living, I'm traveling to explore the world as much I can… Is the best thing we can do in this short life ;)
I have a lot of interests like learning new languages and new cooking skills, talk about everything and meet new cool people.
I'm not afraid of trying something I’ve never done before or even never heard of it before. I can also say that I'm a very independent person, who enjoys to socialize but also to spend the time alone where I will always find something to entertain myself.
I the past I’ve traveled with friends, girlfriends, alone, volunteered for a place where to stay or was just an excursionist. Even I can sound demoralized sometimes I know that I’m an optimistic person… I know it because every morning I literally jump out of my bad wishing my new day to start.
Being in the 30 club I can say I become more mature, but don’t worry enough childish to make laugh people around me.
I like a lot to listen people’s stories. Those can be so different and inspiring...! ! !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my life I had 2 couchsurfing experiences: in 2009, in Chicago and in 2018 in Barcelona and both times was absolutely amazing for me and I appreciated this other’s lifestyle based on trust and empathy for the traveler and I already know that everywhere in the world travelers understand perfectly each other.

I’m sure that I will gain more couchsurfing-experiences in future and, on day, be able to host a lot of people.
