My name is Lukáš and I am a student at Amsterdam University College (Neurosciences). I live my life through sports. I used to play soo many team sports, but currently, I am trying to improve my running skills. I subscribe to the old saying "Sound in body, sound in mind". I enjoy going out with friends on hiking trips. It is a must to say that nature shaped my life so far in a positive way! During winter I like to go skiing or snowboarding, and from time to time to go even cross-country skiing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be frank, I have seen the Tedx video on youtube with Tomislav Perko, who really caught my eye. Being already a bit familiar with the idea of getting out of my comfort zone in my previous hiking trips, volunteering trips, or from the Yes theory youtube channel, my mind was intrigued. So here I am, hoping to get so much more unforgettable memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During a biological expedition in the Romanian mountains, a terrible hailstorm caught our group in the middle of nowhere. Suddenly, as we are literally running through this nearly abandoned village, a door opens and a very old lady lets us in. Communicating only through google translate, not only did we get to spend the hailstorm in a cozy house, we received freshly made dairy products, right from the cow :)) What a simple, but unforgettable memory...
