Overview
About Me
Hey, I'm Lukas and I'm at the end of my University education in Medicine in Aachen, in the far West of Germany.
When I was seventeen, I lived in Québec, Canada for half a year, improving on my English more so than on my (kind of poor) French :)
I am, as my picture might suggest, a true cat person, but I like animals in general. I like to draw and paint, as well with pencils, acrylic colors, etc. as with new media/on the pc.
In Aachen, I help out incoming medical students from abroad, who applied for an internship in my town, which is an awesome way to get to know lots of people from around the world.
I enjoy playing board games and recently I've started playing roleplaying games (d&d, Vampire), which I learned to love quite fast.
I consider myself a sociable, outgoing and easy going person as far as one can say that about him-/herself :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am doing my first "adventure alone" holidays in Cambodia in 02/2017 and a friend of mine suggested checking on Couchsurfing, as it let's you get in contact with many cool people while travelling.
If I enjoy the experience of Couchsurfing, I might host for incoming couchsurfers, who come to Germany, as I always like to get to know more people.
Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
I used to listen to Rock, Punkrock, Metal etc. exclusively, but in the past years, I have started to listen to all kinds of stuff, although it has become less important for me.
MOVIES:
I watch a broad range of movies and series, but I especially enjoy Tarantino, Guy Ritchie and all kinds of fantasy/sci fi movies (including older ones like 2001)
BOOKS:
Terry Pratchett - Discworld series. Stop reading this, go get yourself a copy (for beginners, I recommend "Guards, Guards!")
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I really enjoyed travelling to Jamaica for a medical internship for a month. It was a great experience and I met a bunch of awesome friends!
