Hi everyone,
It’s a me, a Lukas!
I am a 34 year old german speaking Italian living in Vienna. Until a few months ago I worked as a social worker (for about 10 years), but then quit my job to travel to southeast asia by land with my girlfriend Laura.
In my freetime I love to cook, host, organize or just enjoy being part of any kind of social event and travel whenever possible.
I‘m an easy going and curious person, who is always up for an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I‘m new on Couchsurfing, but already had some great experiences with it through my girlfriend Laura and now decided to join as well.

As our home in Vienna is (luckily) always filled with friends and we often have a spare room, we decided we should share it more often with people we dont know yet.

As we are travelling right now, we can‘t host anybody until we will be back (around May/June 2025).
But would be more then happy to meet some interesting people on the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a Polar Bear Family in the wild in Spitzbergen while entering a boat.

I traveled once across europe for a week without money or phone as part of a international challenge.
