ABOUT ME

I am a political sciences student living and studying in Leuven. I finished my master in business economics before. I like traveling and meeting new people. Feel free to contact me if you're looking for a place to stay or wanna go for a drink.

I also have a passion for Scandinavia. That's why I spent my autumn semester in 2012 studying in Helsinki. Next to this I spent the autumn semester in 2014 in Siena, Italy. Here I learnt to speak some Italian and got to pick up the basics of the Italian culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to travel around and get to know people from different cultures. In this way I can share experiences with hosts and guests about travelling and life.

Interests

I am interested in a wide range of things. I love to learn languages. I am very much interested in music, but I can't play, which is a pity. Next to this I love doing and watching sports, but I also like to spend a night in a bar.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a big variety of music. I love to go festivals to watch the bigger names, but it is even more amusing to be surprised by a band I don't know yet. I like watching movies with friends, but you don't have to take me for a big connaisseur. I try to get myself to read more books in different genres. Lastly I read The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and The Stranger by Camus. Now I'm working my way through David Mitchell's the Bone Clocks, which I, up to this point, like very much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved my erasmus experiences. It give you sense of being reborn in a new city and build another life, try to do things differently than you would at home.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to cook, I'm mainly into pastas. If you're into sports, we can do something together. I mainly like ball sports and racquet sports.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell them about my travel experiences. I like talking with a glass of wine or a nice beer. I will try to make time to cook for a host, since that's the least you could do for someone giving you a place to sleep.
