About Me

Part time student part time soldier. After university I'm looking for a full time career in the British Military, therefore adventure, travelling, and a bit of excitement are all things I'm been for. Love pushing myself, in terms of climbing mountains, going places and doings things people haven't already done, and I think Central America is the place to go for that kinda thing. I get my inspiration from explorers before me, such as Levison Wood, and wish to trace some of his steps whilst in Central America.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Young and keen for adventure, looking to get off the beaten track. I travelled South America in 2016, and made the mistake of going mainstream by booking everything in advance etc, but now I'm looking for something more rustic, and want to meet local people as opposed to tourists. I've heard great things from people that have couchsurfed and I want in on the fun!!! Also, I'm really keen to improve my Spanish and couchsurfing in Central America will be an amazing learning experience - I hope! And I want to show how in places like the UK we get such a false idea of what these places are like!

Music, Movies, and Books

Can't beat a bit of hip hop and r&b, though I do have a soft spot for Caribbean music given the fact I'm half Dominican. Open to all types of music really, as long as its got good vibes and I'm with good people, you can't really go wrong. Never touched a book, as hard as I've tried, I'm just not a reader...yet. And most films I'm into.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I attempted to climb one of the highest mountains in Bolivia with a friend last year... at around 5500 we had to come down, after suffering with awful 'runs' coming out from both sides (if you know what I mean)... it turns out we had salmonella, amoeba, and a parasite in our intestine, as well as battling the altitude which we weren't used to being Londoners. So I don't know if that counts as amazing but it sure was interesting...

Teach, Learn, Share

Really would like to improve my Spanish, and just meet some interesting characters.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Just good vibes, I'm more keen and open to learn above anything, so I am happy to take a back seat and just take in what you want to teach me. I'm very easy going, and really not fussed about where I sleep haha, I'll sleep anywhere!
