Howdy howdy,
Grew up in Texas and did some university there. Life not going as planned has taken me around the US and opportunities have taken me around the world. I fell into the CS community in Greenville, SC.

Along with traveling, I enjoy anything outdoors from nature to sports. Some of favorite active pastimes include futbol, running, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, rock climbing, gardening, and hiking. I love getting to meet new people and experiencing new things. I love creating things, making art, and doing good in the world. I also enjoy a good game night or a chat over a beer. My faith also plays a important part in my life. Likewise, I value family and community. I love learning new things and I think people sharing experience and experience itself are the best ways.
I'm working on becoming fluent in Spanish and from there plan to learn other languages.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

After my second Couchsurfing event, I had to create a profile because the community and its philosophy is something I believe in. Maybe I will eventually be settled in a place where I can host, but until then, I plan to use it as a way to make friends in my travels to foreign places. I also hope to use Couchsurfing as a way to be notified about future events.

兴趣

Interested in traveling, soccer, music, new cultures and points of view, and religion. I love hearing people’s stories of their journey to where they are now. I haven’t been sure with ‘what I’m doing with my life’, so I work a job til it’s time to move on. I’m a bit of a workaholic.

The Kings of Leon, Zach Bryan, Siddhartha, and Bon Iver are probably my favorite musical artists. Folk/ indie folk rock seems to be my most played genre and but I can enjoy listening to most styles.

Genre painting and Impressionism are my favorite art styles. I like some good pop art but am always up for any kind of art museum.

I'm into histortical non-fiction books though I am a slow reader.

Good Will Hunting is likely my favorite film. I like movies that challenge your perspective on life or really make you feel things.

I’ve been blessed to see Machu Picchu! It's the most surreal place I've ever been.
I hiked the Camino de Santiago - starting in Irún on the del Norte and switching to the Primitivo in Oviedo.
