Hi I'm Luke I'm new to couchsurfing but I think its a great idea to meet people. What a good excuse hey! I would love to host too when I get back to Australia or do it if I settle Asia!

I first went to Japan when I was 17 on an exchange program. I came back in 2008 and stayed for a couple of months for travel and lived in Tokyo. I have also been to China twice and Thailand. My next destination is Vietnam. I also want to discover other Asian countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet interesting people around Asia, to see how a normal person might live there. I want to understand the different cultures and see if I could possibly live there. I'm interested in learning languages too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to Australian grand final day for Aussie rules football. So exciting, 100,000 people in the stadium, that's a lot for Australia! :) my team lost the match. Oh well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English and maybe chess. I like to to just have a good chat with people, I like making connections and chatting about interesting and philosophical stuff or just chilling out.
I also like to and bring a gift for the people that like to share their place and themselves with me.
