I'm a strange, loving, yet still 'fun' guy, who loves people.

I like camping, and being close to nature. I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs, but I don't judge people who do. I plan on using peyote on a 'journey', and have used marijuana medically.

I'm vegan, and have three cats who are simply awesome people!

Though I don't drink, I go out often, and love music festivals, and social situations, even though I'm sometimes introverted, it's still in an outgoing kind of way!

I'm a lot of fun once you know me, but not always a chatterbox right away, as I disdain small talk. So.. How's the weather? ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to host people as they travel, and enjoy 'surfing' when I'm on the go.

It is great to meet people and make new connections. You want to meet people when you go somewhere, and Couchsurfing provides a great opportunity to do so!

Apologies for not getting back to many of you, I've been without my password for awhile, but am back on now. If you need a place to stay for the night, I live in west Denver! I don't think this thing keeps track of the response rate right. (?)

Interests

I most enjoy spending time with my family and pets, going out in nature, and clubbing! I like music festivals, shows, skiing, hiking, and reading, and want to learn how to skateboard and play guitar! Most things interest me.. I enjoy learning, and am very inquisitive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit drinking over twelve years ago! I have been so blessed by every moment of sobriety, I wouldn't trade it for anything! If I started drinking again today, nothing could take these 12 years away from me! I once thought giving up drinking would end my party days, but these have been the happiest days of my life, and the most fun! I am very grateful.

Teach, Learn, Share

If there was one thing I could teach, it would be 'know yourself'. Doesn't that sound cliche? But you must know every detail of how you are feeling, and what you think,no matter how unreasonable or unexpected. Never be afraid to look, and wear not just your heart, but your whole self on your sleeve. Knowing yourself well is one of the best gifts. It helps you know others.
