I crave adventure and new experiences - even when I know how much easier it is to continue with the same ol' same ol'. I like to engage in meaningful conversation, which to me doesn't have to be heavy hitting topics like religion or human nature, but rather a way to share real thoughts and for me to try to understand the person I'm listening to, and have them understand me.

I used to work in the ecology field, which really meant a lot of hanging out on lakes fishing, hiking across East African savanna, and trudging through May snows in cedar forest. I'm taking a break from all of that to see if I can make something of writing stories.
