I live to fish and write about fishing. I spend the days when I'm not at work traveling to fish, fishing, and then writing about it. By day, I'm a HS Business Teacher and a Medical Readiness Officer in the Oregon Air National Guard, so I work hard, but I play hard, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since travel and fishing are my chief passions, I try to indulge them as much as possible. I travel around fishing and then writing about it. I finished my first book about a similar trip in 2019, titled "Fishing Across America" which I hope to hit shelves this fall.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music, but I'm not a huge fan of Country.

I prefer television to movies, but Comedy is my favorite genre.

Favorite TV shows: Arrested Development, The Detour, Life in Pieces, Schitt’s Creek, and Silicon Valley.

I love to read and listen to audiobooks. As I drive around, Audible is my go-to. I primarily listen to Historical Fiction, Nonfiction, and Science Fiction, though I'm always up for suggestions!

Favorite Books: Ender’s Game Series, Old Man’s War Series
