Oh, you'd like to know about me? I'm a simple man, up with the sun to till the fields, keeping the cattle in check, you know. Simple.

But actually just finished up college with a degree in software development and entrepreneurship, I've done 2 startups and got funding for one, and am just trying out a bunch of careers to see what fits.

I've been in Pittsburgh my whole life, and really haven't gotten the experience of another culture. So following my curiosity of the music industry I'm heading to LA! I'm incredibly excited to meet other creative and passionate people and experience California! I'm already crowd surfing with some friends for my trip, but I'd love to hear about local lives and experiences in LA, so couchsurfing is the way to go!

Right now I'm producing music full time for a change of pace, which is incredible! Seriously, theres no limit to what you can do creatively with music (or any medium really, just gotta think outside the box!) Thats most of my time these days, if you're curious about it hit the blog tenkaymusic.com. Whats that? The blog looks incredibly dope? I agree! Built the site myself, designed everything from the ground up.

I also skate/snowboard, swim/bike/run, and just enjoy good interesting company!

Musica, film e libri

I like all kinds of music, so its tough to pick favorites! Frank Sinatra's "My Way" always gets me, but then so do Hans Zimmer's numerous works as well as some acts you'll see come through Electric Forest music festival. I'm a sucker for anything electronic, with strings, or a heavy-ish guitar.

As far as books, Anthony' Keidis' biography "Scar Tissue" is what got me interested in LA initially, its a hell of a read. His life is essentially worry free and ruled by his whims. Hes a real lucky dude, especially since he should have died about 5 times through the course of the book!

Shoot, its tough to pick a favorite movie. Anything Sean Connery is pretty gold, Fight Clubs of course a classic, Nausicaa (or any Miyazaki really) is gold. I don't konw why but most recently I've found the documentary "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" incredibly compelling, right now its probably at the top.

Besides building the DOPEST half pipe, I founded a company senior year that raised over 100k before I left. Pretty happy about that one!

I'm a solid conversationalist! I can talk philosophy, tech, or music with plenty of background, but really we can chat about anything! I'm looking forward to learning from my hosts and their experiences.
