I am a guy who loves to travel to new places and meet new people! I fell in love with traveling while on a trip to Costa Rica, where I met so many neat people. Everyone has a story, and I believe you can learn something new from anybody you meet. I hope to connect with other cool people through my couch surfing experience!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find staying in people’s homes to be way more interesting than hotels or hostels. I love the sense of community. I’ve met some of my favorite people while sleeping on their couch!

Interests

I am a full time musician, I love to travel, I enjoy endurance sports. I am training for an Ironman triathlon race soon in Chile.

My favorite music is rock. I love the Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, and Boston.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love to travel the world and climb various mountains and volcanos.

I have climbed to the summit of Chimborazo in Ecuador 6263m! One of my favorite memories. I have many stories from this experience.

I have also climbed 31 peaks over 4250m. I’ve had good, bad, and scary experiences on these various expeditions.

I attempted a climb of Pico De Orizaba in Mexico (5636m) but got severe altitude sickness and had to turn around. It was still an incredible adventure.

In 2024 I summited Acatenango in Guatemala 3976m

2025: I went on an adventure of Asia to India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. It opened my eyes to a whole new world.

2025: I traveled overland from Amsterdam, to Hamburg, Copenhagen, Sweden, and Norway. It was quite the adventure.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to learn some new phrases from as many different languages as possible. I’m happy to help people with their English learning as well :)

If you have a guitar, I will entertain you for hours. I am a professional musician, so am always happy to play or jam with other people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m happy to cook a nice meal for you, play music for you if you have instruments, and share stories :)

I do NOT drink, smoke, or do any drugs. Thus, there will never be problems with me being drunk/stoned/etc. However, I do not care if a host or others around me do! It’s just a personal choice.
