ABOUT ME

I am a very easy going person. I am looking to travel Europe in August. I am student studying Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Right now I am in Helsinki till September working doing research at the University.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy it to be open minded. You can learn from everyone regardless of age or education. Many people see the world in different ways and it was always great for me to see and hear other perspectives on life.

My second is that your reap what you sow with anything in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host and be hosted. Make new friends, meet new people. I also don't mind meeting up with travelers to show them the city!

If I can't host I might be able to show you the city or you can come to my home and I can cook for you. I work on weekdays and it is quite unpredictable so it is difficult for me to host then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed from Lithuania all the way to Finland this summer. This experience just got me hooked to the whole CS community. Now I want to couchsurf even more and host couch surfers to return the hospitality I received and to give others the great experience I had.

I couch surfed for the first time in May it is a really great way to see the city and make new friends. I think the locals know better than I what I want to see, where to eat, and where to explore in the city!

I have also hosted before! I see hosting as a great way to show the two beautiful cities that I live in being currently Helsinki.

Also I see it as exposing Canadian hospitality and culture to those people that I host. I love to share my culture with people as well as learn from other cultures.

Interests

I really enjoy cooking, swimming, running and cycling. I love long outdoor walks and relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea!

Picnics in the park are great! If you are in Helsinki, I am always up for those!

Favorite movie is Life is Beautiful and Cafe de Flore (Introduced to me by a fellow couch surfer).

Really good books that I am reading is Why does the World Exist? and Justice

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I have done was a half-ironman that moment running to the finish line was such a great feeling

Another amazing thing I am going to do is travel europe make some new friends and some great experiences!

Seeing the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania was amazing. I had been planning to see it my whole trip and after the very long journey to get there I felt this peacefulness that I really needed for a long time.

Teach, Learn, Share

What can I teach?

I used to be a really good swimmer so I can do that.

I have spent so many years in school so I can teach pretty much most sciences also.

I really like to cook and discuss just life, the more I speak with people the more grateful I am for what I have.

I really love to learn anything really so if you have things to teach me then that would be great!
