I have always wanted to use Couchsurfing for quite some time, but I didn't know how it would affect my clearance levels in the military. I am now proudly out after serving for over 7 years and I am ready to do some traveling. I grew up in the same house my entire life and I was also stationed at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson Arizona my entire enlistment too so I am ready to shuffle my life up a bit and see what's out there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be making these trips solo due to the amount of improvising I will be doing. I am free for the next few months and I can't wait to float around. I am very excited to meet new friends all over the nation and potentially the world.

Interests

I love learning the small stories of small towns. I grew up in a small little city that had just over 1000 people in it. You would miss it if you blinked. That city has such a colorful backstory to it and it helps me realize how much history other small towns could have.

I am a giant nerd and I easily find myself chilling at a coffee shop watching people walk by. I also am a recovering Groupon and Livingsocial addict. I love trying new food and discovering what makes different cities special with their food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I played the saxophone for over 10 years and stopped when I joined the service, but I didn't stop my passion for live music. Jazz, Ska, Big Band, Classic Rock, and Electronic are a few big genres that I love.

I am a fan of comedy, documentaries, or artistic films. My favorite few movies I have seen are Moon, Lord of The Rings, the good Star Wars movies, and the tidal wave of documentaries that I absorb through Netflix.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a few days of fame when I dressed up at weekend 1 of Coachella in 2015. I was number one in a list of fashion trends on Buzz Feed. It was amazing for a few days until BuzzFeed overused my picture and it just got lame...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a giant computer nerd and if you had any issues with A/V equipment, computers, home networks I could figure something out possibly. I am not 100% certain how couchsurfing works, but I will elaborate more after I figure this system out a bit more :)
