About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Educating the future generations by pretending a 4 week teaching qualification actually makes a difference!
ABOUT ME
I hope the majority would say that I am a highly social and outgoing person.
I am always keen to meet new people and this reflects on why I travel so much. I think I am an entertaining character and generally am good at jumping into a new social group and getting stuck in and having the craic!
As cheesy as it sounds but being happy makes everything around you so much better!
PEACE AND BACON!
PHILOSOPHY
If you are ambitious and social then you must use these key skills to meet people. Too many people waste great personal attributes and don't strive to better themselves. Its so much more satisfying to find things in common with people you have just met.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Currently a bit of a gerry greenhorn with this although I spent a couple of days in Brighton with an old friend now well established couch surfer and saw the potential of meeting new people. Hosted 2 people from that house when they came to visit London and loved the experience and responsibility, although my travel experiences tell me that I am more likely to be the person surfing rather than hosting currently.
Interests
I love sports, particularly football but find when I travel I do tend to lose interest (getting caught up in the travel bubble). I am genuinely interested in peoples takes on all walks of life and feel that I have a rounded character due to the fact that I am happy to listen to others discussing their stories as well as sharing mine.
Currently I am an EFL teacher and searching for work so I spend most of my time in a university type world at my summer school trying to be a real person during the day and then coming alive at night!

Music, Movies, and Books
Political thrillers, fictional history etc but anything that has the substance to engage the audience.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bungee jumping in peru towards concrete as working in a monkey sanctuary as a volunteer in the Ecuadorian Amazon with no internet and no FACEBOOK!!! Taking care of a baby Howler Monkey and giving her 2 hot water bottles each night to simulate the warmth of her mother was definitely a personal highlight.
Countless debaucherous tales from drink-fuelled nights
Teach, Learn, Share
Being an English teacher and a new one at that I am on a rampage to correct and restore the damaged reputation of English English (the real English)...free lessons for everyone!
