About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see more of the world in all of its glory and wonder

ABOUT ME

Am in love with the simpler things of the world. Travel food and wine :-). I enjoy spending time on my farm near the ocean where we grow our own fruit and veggies. But I work in Brisbane so alas I dont get as much time there as I would like .

I enjoy watching sport, reading books and hanging out with friends, both new and old.

I enjoy meeting new people from all round the world, so feel free to say hi

PHILOSOPHY

Live life with a smile. And try to be the glass half full.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

People are welcome to crash at my lace in brissy or camp on the farm. I am also hoping to stay with a few people while travelling. Hopefully I will also go to a few events both local and abroad

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far has been awesome. When in Argentina i accidentally meet couch surfers with out even knowing about it. So that was the best introduction as they helped me with my travels

Interests

Sustainable living, growing food, travelling, generally trying to be a decent human :-)

I guess I also spend a bit of time dreaming of things to do. Then trying to find a way to do them. Some never make it but a few have and hopefully a few more will. Currently designing a house made from a shipping container that will be 100% solar powered and made from recycled material. This will become guest accommodation on the farm

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have built my own house from scratch is one of the most amazing things, we tried to use as much recycled material as possible, so sometimes I call it an eBay house

. Lots of travel has given me a few funny and amazing tales.

Seeing Boca juniors win the football title in Argentina was amazing. I have never seen such passionate people. Which was also a little scary as well. Some are perhaps too passionate?

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, France, Indonesia, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Japan, United Kingdom
