About Me

I come from a small town in the middle of nowhere in north Idaho!
Im finally in a position to head out the door and start backpacking the world one country at a time.
I'm a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where I fought in Afghanistan and deployed once to Okinawa Japan.
After leaving the military I spent 6 months in Ireland and England (mostly England).
When I came home, I began going to school to study archaeology with hopes to one day become an archaeologist.
University is a bit bland to me at the moment and am taking a break to travel a but and connect more with the world around me,

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and get to experience the culture of each country I visit from the perspectives of the people who were born and raised there

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to literally anything. I prefer to listen to my music live so. Big concert junkie.
Any book written by Paulo Coelho or Jack Kerouac really.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've set up 3 different friends who were life-long Casanova's with women who they are still to this day married to so I feel I am always able to connect with people instinctively and I Love it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a pretty strong natural teaching ability.
I'd hope to quell some of the misconceptions there might be about how Americans conduct themselves and share some of the experiences i've had in life with those I come across while traveling.
I would love to share my knowledge of cooking with everyone I come across as well as learn how to become a more rounded chef

What I Can Share with Hosts

Incredibly positive mental attitude and willingness to assist with literally any task needed to help out around the place of residence. I always try my best to put others before myself, and would love an opportunity to give back as much or more than is given to me when staying anywhere.

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Canada, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
