Make the most of my first time travelling alone. I want to come home a wiser, more knowledgable, independent and well-travelled person.

ABOUT ME

I'm a student studying a bachelor of communications, culture and media at University in Sydney. I'm currently doing an exchange semester at the University of Missouri in the USA. I'm a very social person I really like meeting new people. I'm not the type to spend my day in bed nor the type to spend my college days studying in the library. I would describe myself as tech savvy, outgoing, easy going and maybe a little eccentric. I'm very well mannered and respectful too.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CouchSurfing! I heard about this through a friend of friend who participated in CouchSurfing across the US and loved it! I want to meet new people and make the most of my travelling time. I don't like the idea of going to an amazing new place and have your experience cut short because you didn't know the best places to go or the right people to show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Is yet to really begin! Hopefully I'll meet some other CSers over the next month or two.

Intereses

Exploring places and adventure. Food! Big cities and amazing landscapes. Anything that looks good through my camera. Food. Liquids. Shows and concerts. Food. Online shopping. Days where I have nothing planned. Rain outside when I have work to do inside. The feeling when I'm spending all my money on awesome things before the guilt eventually clouds me when I realise I didn't need ANOTHER pair of shoes. Food.

Mr and Mrs Smith, In Bruges, The Incredibles and Finding Nemo. Jay-Z and Childish Gambeno, Calvin Harris, Coldplay, Drake and dead rodents. My favourite book is The Thief Lord. I'm also a proud fan of Harry Potter and I can't pass up on anything Matthew Reilly writes.

I've left my home to live in the US on campus and experience college life for one semester (Jan-July). Although I've been very fortunate and travelled the world, this is the first time doing it alone and I LOVE it. I've climbed the Eiffel Tower in Paris, seen a broadway show in London, swam with dolphins in Australia, scaled waterfalls in Vanuatu, jumped off cliffs in Jamaica, enjoyed sangria and tapas in sunny Spain, watched the light show on the Hong Kong skyline, flown in a tiny propeller-driven plane between the islands of Thailand, enjoyed the resort life in Singapore, rode the trolleys in San Francisco, drank all the drinks in New Orleans' French Quarter, walked the Mall in Washington D.C.
