ABOUT ME

Friendly, Happy, Enthusiastic, Confident, Sarcastic, Talkative! I have a warm personality and am very lively!

Love Computer games, exploring, walking, eating (big eater), Fire Poi, a good beer and Netflix ;)

Taught English in Cixi, Zhejiang, China in 2013 and the year and before that lived in Ontario, Canada for a year! Fun Times :)

PHILOSOPHY:
Remember to watch the waves and not only the tides.
Life isn't only the rush of events, the hustle and bustle of motion; take the time to stop and appreciate the smaller things. Make sure you find time to chill out, relax and take life as it comes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have been since it started - Gone through periods of activity and none at all.

Surfed lots, hosted lots, not always CS official mind you.
Traveled lots!

Interests

I'm very into music! Like to pretend my life has a soundtrack!
Worked at a Tim Hortons (Canadian thing) Summer Camp for 3 summers and came to love Canoeing, Kayaking, Camping, Captaining Dragon Boats, making flags out of paddles, Archery, Rock Climbing, Tubing, Knee boarding, Swimming, Hockey, Campfires, Stargazing, hanging out, Sleeping, Hiking and Fire Poi!
I love the Japanese/Chinese cultures :)

I Love all manners of films, from Star Wars to Amelie! I love The Nightmare Before Christmas! and lots of other films
Folk/Rock/Metal/Country/Electro.. err Metallica, Bob Dlyan - more..
(Though I listen to a lot of Rock, I do listen to a lot of Rap too - chilled classics - heavy metal is my forté)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I went to Canada for 3 summer to work as a Camp councilor at a Tim Horton's camp. Each cabin consisted of 8 kids cared for by myself and a co-councilor for 10 days till the new ones arrived.
We were literally; parent, friend, brother, doctor, entertainer, mentor and role-model.
These kids look up to you so much. But more than that its like having a laugh with your friends day-in day-out for 3 months at a time!
You get to make a difference.Very hard work but worth every second. One of the best experiences of my life so far!
Oh and I've seen Metallica live - 6 times :)
