I've since been back from traveling -- volunteering in India, romping through South Asia, breezing by Europe -- and oh, how I miss it! Now, I'm defrosting and figuring out my next steps ... that's all I can say at the moment!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

INDIA! I heart the food, the dirt, the poor, the rich, the color, the travels, the streets, the nature, the confusion, the stench, the cows, the people, even the touts and rickshaw wallahs! (okay maybe not so much for the last two)

SE ASIA! My gustatory adventure: From Keralan bananas to Singapore Sling to Malaysian nasi lemak to Filipino balut (ech!) to pad Thai and unto Madras, then back to Bangalore.

NEPAL! Bungee Jumping & Canyon Swinging over the Bhote Kosi river.

Turkey! Cherry-apple waterpipe underneath the Galata bridge with a gorgeous view of the Bosphorous. And the incredibly generous people of Erzurum who invited me into their homes.

London! & Paris! The art, cuisine, culture, & SHOPPING... it definitely eased my transition back to the States.

My favorite memory: Merienda before dusk in the middle of twin lagoon in Palawan, Philippines. Eating our jackfruit, pineapple and sandwhich while drinking Coke after snorkeling. We're sitting on a jagged limestone structure surrounded by lush mangroves and crystal clear blue waters.
