Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Luky — 28 years old, living in West Jakarta, Indonesia. I work in digital marketing and communications, and I’m always curious about creativity, design, and how people connect with ideas. Besides my professional side, I also enjoy building communities where people can grow, support each other, and share stories.
I’m a mix of both an extrovert and an introspective person. I love having deep conversations late at night about life, culture, or personal struggles, but I also enjoy sharing laughter over simple everyday things.
Traveling for me isn’t just about visiting new places — it’s about meeting people, learning their perspectives, and exchanging experiences. I believe every person I meet has something valuable to teach me, and Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to live that out.
In my free time, I write, create content, and sometimes record emotional monologues for social media projects. I also like exploring art, podcasts, and anything that inspires human connection.
If we meet, expect good conversations, genuine curiosity, and maybe some insights about digital creativity. Most importantly, I’d love to learn from you and your stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here because I believe the best way to truly experience a place is through the people who live there. Hotels and tourist spots are nice, but they don’t give you the same warmth and authenticity that comes from sharing time with locals.
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay — it’s about building genuine connections, exchanging cultures, and making memories that go beyond photos. I want to hear real stories, learn little everyday habits, and see a city through someone else’s eyes.
At the same time, I love the idea of giving back by sharing my own culture, thoughts, and experiences. Whether it’s conversations about life, creativity, or just hanging out over food or coffee, I’m here for the human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy music that speaks to emotions — from mellow acoustic tracks to soulful indie songs, and sometimes even lo-fi beats when I need to focus or just breathe. I connect most with music that feels honest and a little melancholic, the kind that makes you reflect on life.
For movies, I like stories that leave you thinking long after the credits roll. I enjoy dramas and documentaries that explore human struggles, creativity, and relationships. But I’m also up for light-hearted comedies when I just want to laugh and switch off.
Books for me are a mix: I read about self-growth, creativity, and storytelling, but I also enjoy literature that captures raw human emotions. I like works that feel relatable and make you see the world from a different perspective.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done was building a community from scratch — starting small, with just a few people sharing the same interest, and watching it grow into something meaningful where everyone supports and inspires each other. Seeing strangers turn into friends and collaborators has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
It reminded me that creating spaces for people to connect can be just as adventurous as traveling the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe everyone has something to teach and something to learn.
I can share what I know about digital creativity, marketing, and building communities — or even just tips on creating content and storytelling. I’d be happy to teach the little things I’ve picked up along the way.
I’d love to learn more about different cultures, daily routines, languages, and personal philosophies. For me, even simple stories about someone’s life can be inspiring.
And what I’d love to share most is time — conversations, laughter, maybe food, and genuine human connection. Those are the things that matter the most.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversations, stories from my culture, and insights about life in Indonesia. If you’re curious about digital creativity or social media, I’d be happy to share some tips and ideas too.
I can also bring small local snacks or souvenirs as a little thank you. Most of all, I can share respect for your space, positive energy, and genuine curiosity to learn from you.
