ABOUT ME

We are Bart and Lucille, two former physics students.
Lucille teaches physics and chemistry in a high school in Tours. Bart is a data scientist.
We have two children, Laureline (13 years old) and Colin (11 years old). Laureline enjoys reading a lot of mangas, and Colin enjoys playing videao games.

We are involved a lot in reducing our ecological impact : we try to be "zero waste", we have a garden were we grow some vegetables, we have chickens living in the garden. We don't travel by plane.

We love meeting people, sharing ideas and cultures.
We plan to travel during our holidays, as far as we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are on Couchsurfing because we love hosting people in our house, having guests is a great pleasure for us. While meeting people we can talk about food, about books, about the differences between our way to live and the way our guests live.

Interests

Bart and Lucille practice Climbing ! We can go with you to an open air structure if you want to practice.

Music, Movies, and Books

We appreciate a lot science fiction and fantasy novels : Robin Hobb, Orson Scott Card, Terry Pratchett, Asimov....

Bart really loves the movies from the french director Albert Dupontel. We also appreciate Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson.

Concerning music, Bart is a huge fan of Hubert Felix Thiefaine.
And I listen most of the time to french singers who have good lyrics as Volo, Fatals Picards...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most incredible thing we've done are our little Babies ! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you a bit of French Sign Language.

We like to make food on our own so we can show you how to make yogurts, brioche, bread.

We are trying to reduce our waste impact and we buy local food to make our meals. We can share some tips and also learn some if you are aware of them.
