ABOUT ME

I am a free spirited wandering soul. Just moved to the USA, Texas from misty Scotland. Just got a House share with 2 pilots and 2 lovely fluffy cats.I love yoga, the great outdoors, walking, a good glass of champagne,cocktails, dancing, fine books, all sorts of theatre, music especially show tunes, jazz and new country stuff and ol' time blue grass. Writing, sculpting, drawing and dance also fill my time, along with practising yoga, pondering complex things, staring at the sunset and buddist mediation.

I love to sit in the garden watching sunrise or sunset and gaze at the moon and stars, wander about or hit the town for a jam, dance or general bit of fun. I am good around the house, love to cook vegan delights and am pretty neat and tidy, dog and cat and horse lover as well!

I am a Waldorf teacher, performing and yoga teacher in TEXAS, and I am looking to explore this land of the free, and as soon as I have a couch of my own host other people too!

Stayed with faboulosi Austin Hosts, and had a really great time exploring the town. Meet great folks in Houston who became lifelong friends and travelled east to West and met great souls.

I love old movies, Harvey, Some Like it Hot, Sound of Music, To Kill a Mockingbird, Buster Keaton Films,Audrey Hepburn movies, anything with CARY gRANT IN IT, marylin Monroe movies old MGM musicals, Requiem for a Dream, Little Miss Sunshine, Lost in Translation.

Music wise I have a really varied taste, Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Django Rhinehert, The Kinks, Dolly Parton, The Be Good Tanyas, Wilco, Old Soul,Mozart, Mahler, Baetles, Bach,Carpeneters, Show Tunes, HEM, tHE Frames, Radiohead, Blur, Wilco, Jonny Cash, dAMIEN rICE...

Books is even harder. Recently got into Tom Robbins, love Russian stuff, French literature, magic realist stuff, Tenesse Williams , gothic stuff, Mark Twain, Jane Austen - nothing I wont try once!
