About Me

Before being any profession I am a person who wants to inquire about the complexities of human beings and cultures, that's why I love meeting people from all over the world.

I live in Colombia, in the countryside near Medellín with 6 adorable dogs and two beautiful cats. I love being alive and letting life unfolds as it wants. I have studied biological engineering and I have a masters degree in cancer genetics, just trying to understand better our complex nature.

I love taking pictures of people from the street, in the most spontaneous manner possible, altough I am not a photographer.

I think I am very sensitive to social problems, and I would like to do something to make this world better...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because understanding a culture is not just visiting the country but interacting with its people. I have never been in India but I have Indian friends and I am convinced that it is a great country.

So, I want to know the cities through their people, and host people open to talk about their culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I consider myself an inveterate music lover, for me it would be impossible to live with no music. I love Jazz, Latinjazz, salsa, mambo, rock, boleros, Trip Hop ...

I love independent films, especially from Spain,. Almodovar is definitely my favorite filmmaker.

I love reading the Russians Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, but also Saramago, Simone de Beauvoir, Sartre, and of course my beloved Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have rescued 10 dogs from the street and I have adopted two cats so far, crazy right?

Teach, Learn, Share

The most important thing is to learn about culture, share conversations about what we do in our countries.

I can teach a bit of Spanish, some recipes from my country, and of course salsa dancing.
