ABOUT ME

My name is Katharina and I've got an open and inquisitve mind. I love to learn more about other cultures and traditions. Often I have the really strong requirement to pack my bag, take the next flight to wherever and have a great time... do you know this? :)
I moved to Munich 2011 because of the job and I love this city more and more!
I'm really stoked about social work, because I love to get know new people! I laugh often and loud and I love to make other people laugh! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I think, that everybody can make this world to a better place. You just need respect, tolerance and solidarity. So I love to travel around the world, because I want to find out, if there are other people, who are living in the same spirit like me :-) Also important: I try to enjoy every day and looking on the bright side of life!

If I've got time I would like to host nice and interessting people. I could show some nice places in Munich and going out in the evening for a beer (or two... ;-), visiting a concert... whatever...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS-expereience was in Portugal! And it was amazing! All the openminded hosts and this great country! Just felt in love with Portugal! :-)

Interests

music: there's so much good music in the world! I'm listening to rock, ska, electro, drum'n'base, reggae, balkan beats... for example:
porcupine tree, ska-p, desorden publico, manu chao, Amsterdam klezmer band, acid arab, jemen blues band, QOTSA, skunk anansie, portishead, the xx, erykah badu, vampire weekend, 60s and Cambodian rock and many more...

books: i never promised you a rose garden, all quiet on the western front, Herr Lehmann, Sommerhaus später, round Ireland with a fridge, every kind of short stories...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first CS-experience in Portugal! It was amazing. All the nice people everywhere on my journey who let me feel welcome... the feeling, that I'm connected with the whole world... great!
