Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and exploring new places throughout the year. One thing I’ve realized is that strangers often welcome me with more warmth than people I’ve known for years—it’s such a beautiful and humbling experience.

One of my dreams is to host, welcome, and help travelers who want to visit my country. But before I can do that, I want to experience the kindness and culture of others. I’d love to learn about your country and traditions firsthand while working toward my dream of independence, without relying on my parents.

I believe travel is more meaningful when it connects people across cultures, and Couchsurfing is the perfect way to make that happen!

Interests

Hi, I’m a law graduate with a passion for cooking, cats, and meaningful change! I founded a youth organization focused on food security, sustainable agriculture, and waste management. These causes are close to my heart, and I love finding innovative ways to make a positive impact.

In my free time, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen or relaxing with music—I enjoy listening and singing along while I study. I’m working toward my dream of becoming a lawyer or even a judge and plan to pursue my Master’s in Law soon.

I’m also a big fan of meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about different cultures. Looking forward to connecting with like-minded travelers!

Music, Movies, and Books

I’ve been a fan of slow rock, rock, jazz, and blues since childhood, thanks to my dad's influence. When it comes to books, I’m drawn to horror, action, legal, and crime stories—anything that keeps me on the edge of my seat. As for movies, I can’t resist a good horror, action, thriller, or legal drama. I usually skip romance; I guess intense plots are more my style!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking my first mountain in 2024 was a breathtaking experience that I’ll always cherish—it truly opened my eyes to the beauty of nature. On a more personal note, one of my proudest accomplishments is financing my education entirely on my own. These experiences have fueled my passion for exploring the world, discovering its hidden beauty, and working towards a future where I can help and inspire others along the way.

I’m a professional tutor for Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Speakers on Preply, where I enjoy introducing my native language to learners from around the world. I’m also learning to cook and bake as part of my dream to open my own bakery and coffee shop someday. I’d love to share my knowledge about coffee, law, and exciting future opportunities.
