ABOUT ME

Living in the remote High Desert of Los Angeles County. It's a slow paced town inhabited by a large population of seniors, families who children, and professed faith in Jesus. For entertainment we offer the parks & playgrounds, special events, movies, learning workshops,, and we get a selection of the highest grossing films. In the evening there are a couple decent establishments that offer live music, karaoke, comedians, and even a drag show now n' then.

PHILOSOPHY

"Treating others as you wish to be treated", has always been the foundation, but I enjoy helping people and making sure that they feel appreciated, loved, and cared for. I believe in advocating for what is right, good, and best for all living beings, especially our planet. Living respectfully and sustainably is my life's work.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to Couchsurfing.com by one of its founders in 2005. I've recently reimagined what could be and the many benefits that it could bring about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've never purposely slept on a couch, preferring the perfectly cozy mattress in the next room. Of course I've reached a certain age where roughing-it has consequences both for sleep and recovery, and ability to performbthe next day/trek of travel..

Interests

art, fashion, design/creation, finding solutions, collaborative projects, self development, bonding times cooking,belly laughs...all good things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies are my jam, I've seen all kinds and love the director's unique perspective when creating a cohesive production using hyper stylized sets, costumes, lights and magic - with all the budgets!'It's just that good when when you finally get to watch it again and again.

I'm pretty open to all kinds of music from old time ShowTunes & Soundtracks, , Funk & Oldies, Classics & Pop, and occasionally some sweet flowing EDM that can take over the body, heal your mind, and south the soul.

Now I know reading is fundamental for all kinds of reasons but I haven't found a good book to read in ages. Lots of nee things ahead.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I've co-produced and performed in a cabaret show which raised $5K to benefit our annual camp & art project to take place at Burning Man in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada.

Living a sustainable life requires intention, mindfulness, and vigilance in thinking about one's footprints as they walk the earth. Knowing the ins and outs of natural, alternative green products and services is key...and it doesn't mean "more expensive".

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm fully open and engaged in learning more about Couchsurfing and how to get involved to support both individuals and communities.
