ABOUT ME

So yeah, I guess I'm a relaxed and flexible person but also quite ambitious. I graduated from university a year ago and am now working for a large engineering consultant. Both my study and my work I chose on the basis that they would involve a lot of travelling. In the Netherlands I work on projects that relate to use keeping our feed dry (so that's flood protection) and abroad mainly in the agricultural water demand sector.

I recently moved to Utrecht and am now living here together with my girlfriend. So if you want to meet someone who is a lifetime expert on Utrecht I am not your man, but I'm getting to know the basics and am willing to try anything new ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far mostly used it for finding places to sleep while traveling so I would like to return the favour whenever I can. That being said, I'll have to convince I my girlfriend to let people stay so just going out for a coffee or drinks definately has my preference!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hitch-hiked to Budapest a few summers back and had plenty of places to stay along the way! Spend newyearseve in Paris a few years ago and had the luck that someone was willing to host us on that busy, busy night. Went to Hull and decided that I definately needed some people to show me the good sight of that otherwise not so exiting city and so on!

Yay, books! Extremely loud and incredibly close (J.S. Foer), A fraction of the whole (S. Toltz), Vernon God Little (D.B.C. Pierre) anything by David Mitchell, Haruki Murakami, Aravind Adiga, recently started enjoying Alice Munro.
