About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dear Couchsurfing community, I am making a cycling adventure beginning some time 2nd week of June from Zutphen, the Netherlands to a location in the middle of France.
Through Belgium, Luxembourg and ending at a location in France where I will be cooking.
My route and timing is a little flexible so even if you are slightly off my planned route I really treasure meeting other couchsufers. Please reach out if you wish to host me for a night or two.
Until I start riding I am looking for new Couchsurfing friends. Say hello!

....
April 2022 I moved to Brummen, Netherlands, which is the 3rd country I have lived in these past 2 years. Luxembourg and Belgium are the other 2.

ABOUT ME
I'm travelling in Europe and love to meet locals and visitors, please say hello.
I've been living back in Europe since August 2017, after 16 years in the US. I am learning French and hiking a lot.
I practice yoga and meditation daily. I am a vegetarian and love cooking and sharing food with others.

PHILOSOPHY
Mostly we need to responsible for all our so-called imperfections
Live life fully, be open, be compassionate and forgiving, allow yourself to be surprised, sharing joy with those around.
It's becoming clear there's a lot of crazy things people do to themselves and others, participating in the CS community is one way to make the world a more sharing caring place.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am occasionally meeting couchsurfers for social gatherings and rarely hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing is my favorite community because it's based on the principle of sharing resources, something that I believe is essential and yet too often lacking. I am grateful for all those I have been able to host, be hosted or to meet up, CS makes the world a better place!

Interests

Hiking and camping are now at the top of my list of how I like to spend time.
Food, people, fun, music, dance, yoga, health, travel, languages, accents, making a difference, growth and development.
