CURRENT MISSION

To get back to reality in New Zealand, with a little help from my new friends...

ABOUT ME

Im educated and talkative. My main interests are reading, thinking and talking and playing sport. I love to run, swim at the beach but my current obsession is with squash, tennis and anything adventurous. Ive got degrees in History and Law, worked as a fitter/turner then a high school teacher. Right now Im doing my PhD in law about the Deepwater Horizon, I just spent a year travelling to Texas, studying in Bremen and then coming home via Shanghai and Brisbane. I cant host at the moment, but am always keen to meet interesting travellers, for excursions, conversations or any occasions!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the whole "do unto others" ethic. I reckon if you treat people properly then what goes around will come around. Plus life is just a lot more satisfying when you do random acts of kindness.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive hitch hiked all over Nz and had great experiences with all sorts of travellers, I've surfed in Chicago and Bremen, had meetups in Shanghai and hosted in my home town of Hamilton.
