About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get familiar with research again!

ABOUT ME

My husband and I just moved to Arlington for my his new job. Although I hate Northern Virginia with a passion I get the opportunity to get back into hands-on research and think I will finally start to enjoy the work I do.

We are currently looking for a permanant place to reside but in the mean time are staying with the in-laws so unfortunately that means no couch surfing guests, hopefully our status will change in the near future!

I love to hike, camp, bike, and I just recently learned to snowboard...I'm learning to love it although it has been trying.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couched surfed through the site but I have spent many a night visiting folks across the state and country. Perhaps the most memorable is my trip to Northern California to visit my kick ass firefighter friend, Chris, in the Redwood National Forest. Amazing place, I don't think I've ever walked that much in my entire life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a month traveling around the Australia camping, hiking, shopping, drinking, and dancing. Australia is a beautiful place. The most amazing thing I've ever seen was the Great Barrier Reef, we spent 2 days on a sailboat snorkeling and scuba diving different parts of the reef...absoutely amazing.
