ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling, cooking awesome vegan food, being an activist for issues that I think are important...ranging from the environment to animal rights, booking and going to local music shows, listening to music, being active and living life to the fullest.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is meant for living to it's full potential. If something is stopping you from doing what you love, make it your immediate goal to change it so that you can. For me, the most fulfilling part of life is doing what I am passionate about.

I haven't surfed on anyone's couch yet, or hosted but plan on changing that very soon!

Music. Where to begin. Elliott Smith, Brand New, Conor Oberst, The Decemberists, Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos, Tegan and Sara, Ratatat, Alkaline Trio, Against Me! and more... Movies. Any of the Studio Ghibli films like Princess Mononoke, Totoro, etc. I don't watch much television but I love documentaries! My favorite is Bold Native, but I like a ton of other ones too. I love to read outside in the summer, some of my favorites: Watership Down, The Fountainhead, Eating Animals, Party Monster, A Clockwork Orange and Committed.

I got to travel for three months this summer, living on a bus and touring the US and Canada with PETA. The best part? I got to talk to kids about animal rights ALL day while listening to (not always) awesome music!

I have a degree in Public Relations, if you ever need help with promotion, web design, advertising or anything related. I have booked bands in the twin city area for years, let me know if you want to book a show! I'm also an amazing activist if you have something you've been planning on doing, I can get signatures on petitions, pass out fliers, wear costumes and talk to anyone! I know a ton of information about animal rights issues if you have any questions :)
