I'm in a rather tightly controlled dorm so can't host at the moment, but I'm always up for showing you around and making sure you don't go anywhere boring by accident.

Interests

Trains. Not in an identifying sort of way, more in a riding sort of way.

Films: I have a great passion for 80s teen flicks. The passion might actually be for the young Andrew McCarthy.

Books: This is very important - NOT JANE AUSTEN.

Music: Here is a small selection.
Beck, Rolling Stones, Decemberists, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams (am a rather avid country fan), Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Bright Eyes, Elvis Costello, Fleetwood Mac, Dr John, Professor Longhair, Buckwheat Zydeco Beausoleil (am also a rather avid zydeco and cajun music fan), Nick Cave/Grinderman, Indigo Girls, Janis Joplin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise over the prairie in Kansas was quite special. So was taking the train over the Raton Pass between Colorado and New Mexico.

Not a bad cook. I can teach you Anglo-Saxon (never a popular option, I must admit) and I can read your tarot cards if you like.
