Mission #1: powering through grad school! Secondary missions include: meeting fun and interesting people, getting creative with food/music/art/life. Spending more time in the water and on my bike.

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Luz, I'm 32 years old. My boyfriend and I live in a nice cozy house full of art and silliness. We've got two perfect dogs and a prince of a cat. We do a lot of listening to music, watching documentaries, cooking and eating food, and I plan on starting a garden as soon as the summer heat gives us a break.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a big believer in fairness and reciprocity, which translates to an egalitarian personal life and a belief in social justice and equality. I have a scientific point of view by nature and education, and use the principles of skepticism when examining the world around me.

Little to none- I have friends who host and surf, but this is my first time getting involved.

I love the beach, and all things outdoor- hiking, camping, biking, swimming, etc.
I am also a bit of a nerd- I love science fiction and board games, geography, and local history.
I'm a big foodie- was trained as a chef before I went back to school, and I love good food, wine, and cheese.
