ABOUT ME

I get on well with most people. I have a sense of humor. I am respectful of others and try to be tactful and diplomatic. I am told that I am down-to-earth, unassuming, and willing to listen to others. I have a practical approach to life: flexibility, ability to compromise and a willingness to adjust. I try to see things in a positive light. My values are a mixture of eastern and western. I’ve been described by various people as kind, gentle, refined, sincere and caring. Lifestyle:I live a reasonably disciplined life: I try to exercise (jog) a few times a week. I am used to housework and maintain a clean house. My friends are mostly people that are spiritually aware . Interests:Shopping for bargains! Intellectual & philosophical conversation. Light meditation, I listen to soft music. Enjoy watching television Reading financial news and keeping up with developments in the stock market. Limited interest in politics, Politically, I lean a little to the “left” In the past I have volunteered on a crisis phone line and tutored orphans. Currently I have sponsored the education of two young girls: one in India and another in the Persian Gulf.. Have an interest in natural health/healing (vitamins, herbs, acupressure, acupuncture). Enjoy the occasional hike but travel is my passion. Been to Europe, India (three times) and parts of S.E. Asia. Would love to visit South America & Africa.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is essentially spiritual and the key to success is self-mastery. Believe strongly that the problems we face in life are karmic in nature. I love to maintain close ties with my friends and relatives. My motto: the simple things in life are often the best!
