Creating a home in Marburg
I love travelling, my friends & family, Jasper and my Job (most of the time).
Work is very important to me, but I am not a Workaholic, I even love more to have days off and to travel. But I learned that I do need a task to do.
I'm interested in all kind of things, I am more an introverted person, but I always like to talk about travel, food, animals. I also like to talk about politics (but not always).
Life is not a fairy tale, but it could be a well written story. With ups and downs, unexpected turning points, friendship, love and hope, a share of luck and a little bit of tragic, unbelievable coincidences, a good part of wisdom and humor, exciting adventures and sophisticated thoughts and last but not least a likeable (I hope so ;-) main character. :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting board game events, joining in meetings
I surfed a week with a friend in Brisbane and had her over at my place to surf with me for a week.
I love board games, cooking with friends or eating out and chatting up. If there is the opportunity, I also like to be active outdoors (horse riding, kayaking, hiking..). In summer I like nothing better than having a picnic at a lake with friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I enjoy comedies, thrillers, fantasy and science fiction movies. I am also a huge fan of post-apocalyptic and dystopian movies (12 Monkeys, 28 Days Later, The Hunger Games), mainly because I like to see how people organize themselves and survive after normal society collapsed.
TV-Series: Big bang theory (I am nerdy, too), LOST
Top fav book atm: A Song of Ice an Fire (better known as Game of Thrones)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping under the stars close to Uluru.
