About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to meet awesome people whether i'm surfing or hosting

ABOUT ME

i'm a laid back, fun-loving, chill gal who was born and schooled in texas, lived in boston for 5 years, and am now settled in the bay area.

Languages interest me, and i'd love to learn some phrases of your language. My friend is teaching me inappropriate phrases/words in German, and I used to be able to read a French menu. I survived two weeks in Argentina with my rusty high school Spanish... That's about it for now...

when visiting other places, i like to have a mix of "local" and "touristy" things to do. i also prefer to walk around, as opposed to taking taxis or renting a car, if possible. i think it is the best way to see a new place!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

it's a great way to connect with a local and meet cool, like-minded people!

Music, Movies, and Books

i'm pretty easy-going, i enjoy almost all types of music, movies, and food!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most recent things that amazed me was ice climbing on the Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia. It was beautiful and scary at the same time. I had never seen anything like it before - it was such an unreal experience for me!

More recently, I did a solo trip around the North Island of New Zealand. It was definitely a challenging experience (hello driving on the other side of the road with all the car parts on the opposite side of the car!), but it was also a great experience in that I got to meet lots of really fun people, see some beautiful nature (Tongariro Circuit!), and get out of my comfort zone a bit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
