ABOUT ME

It's pretty difficult to talk about yourself, so maybe instead I would like to think about how I hope friends would describe me...
I would certainly love to think that before anything, my friends would just smile when asked about me. People can form opinions based on a huge variety of factors, but I think that as long as people smile as the first thing when they think of you, you're doing something right as far as interacting with your fellow humans.
Though... I would also hope that they would recount stories of all the crazy adventures we had together or the quieter moments of great conversations.

Intereses

My attention is grabbed by stars and smiles and good conversation. .

I recently graduated from a tiny liberal arts college in Indiana with a major in Sociology/Anthropology and a minor in French and Francophone studies. I love to talk about social theory, communities, structures, systems, institutions, and the way humans navigate living and loving.

I think above all I try to spend my time learning. Traveling, wandering, reading, observing, reflecting, acknowledging, connecting... Anything that pushes me past what I know.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I am currently teaching English to primary school children ages 6-11 here in France, but for people of any ages I would always be willing to assist with English learning!
I like to garden and have worked for a grounds care business before so I could offer some gardening help or simple lessons. I've also tutored for french language a bit so I could do some of that too!

I absolutely love to learn any bits and pieces of languages you'd want to teach, as well as any interesting skills or hobbies or anything else you might want to teach me about.

I don't have a ton to give, lots of stories and laughs and I would love to provide a listening ear or sounding board to bounce ideas off of.

I like to cook and share drinks or a coffee (i love coffee and sitting, talking in cafes for hours!), and offering food, drink and conversation is certainly one thing I could give. I also am neat and tidy so I would leave your space clean!

I'm flexible and fun loving so I would also be up for being company on any adventure or activity! I especially love discovering new music, artists, museums, etc etc etc forever and ever and Id love to share in that.
