Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The saddest thing about books is only being able to read the ones in English.
Music: Life would be unliveable without it! If I had to pick a favourite band it would be a toss up right now between Radiohead and Bon Iver.
TV shows: Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under and Buffy the Vampire Slayer are some of my favourites, open to suggestions for the next show to immerse myself in! I cannot WAIT for Orange is the New Black to start again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked for ten days across the Rocky Mountains when I was 15. You can trace the route on a map of Canada, it was a long way to go both physically and mentally. I also traveled mostly by train from Istanbul to London in the spring of 2013. It was NOT a direct route by any means, it took six weeks to cover over 7,000 km and visit about 15 countries!

Teach, Learn, Share

For anyone wanting to practice their English I am a willing conversational partner. I would like to improve my very poor Turkish and also need to learn how to cook!
I can teach university math, physics, electrical engineering, some computer programming and some history too, as well as anything you want to know about Canada : )

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russian Federation, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
