About Me

To create a web of incredible networks and experiences theory people around the world.

I'm a passionate, caring and vibrant individual who is constantly seeking new challenges. I am my happiest when dancing in a drum circle and meeting people from around the world! I currently live in Seattle , where I was born and raised. This place is very special to me and is a very beautiful part of my country.

I have been fortunate enough to have lived in France and Japan. While in Japan, I taught high school English in a fishing village for several years. This is was an incredible experience in so many ways. It taught me the importance of patience and understanding a different culture from the roots and up. While living in these countries, I traveled as much as possible to other countries as well. Exploring like this is in my every fibre!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Learn from everything, especially when life is at its hardest.

And.. don't just dip your toes in, dive in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first couch surfed with a friend several years ago when living in Europe. We stayed with several people in Rome, Italy. I have since couch surfed on the Olympic peninsula in Washington and Istanbul, Turkey. I have also hosted surfers at my home in Japan and Seattle!

All of my CS experiences have been very positive and rewarding. It is one of the best ways to travel. It is so essential to get a local's perspective when visiting a new place. Couchsurfing is the perfect vehicle to connect with incredible people that can teach you so much about their culture.
