About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create a web of incredible networks and experiences with people around the world.

ABOUT ME

Hello! We are Lydia and Coty. We are both artists, performers and very passionate about traveling! We currently live in Las Vegas in the US. We can often be found hiking, dancing, cooking, camping, going to see shows, fire spinning, and doing acro yoga.

Lydia has lived in France and Japan. Coty has lived in Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.

We love traveling because not only do you get to see unique and different parts of the world, it challenges you. During this time, it is so important to learn from others. We hope to travel far and often for the rest of our lives.

PHILOSOPHY
"You can't cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water." -Tagore

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Learn from everything, especially when life is at its hardest.

And.. don't just dip your toes in, dive in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lydia: I first couch surfed with a friend several years ago when living in Europe. We stayed with several people in Rome, Italy. I have since couch surfed on the Olympic peninsula in Washington, Colombia and Istanbul, Turkey. I have also hosted surfers at my home in Japan and Seattle!

All of my CS experiences have been very positive and rewarding. It is one of the best ways to travel. It is so essential to get a local's perspective when visiting a new place. Couchsurfing is the perfect vehicle to connect with incredible people that can teach you so much about their culture.
