Hi there! I am currently in Berlin, trying to make friends and build up a base for the next few months (or years) that I am living here. I have been doing my Masters-degree up until recently and now I only have my dissertation to go- phew!

I have a part-time job in Berlin, but yet to find somewhere to live and I have a very limited network of friends- so basically those are the next two things on my agenda!

To make new friends and have new experiences! I want to be able to host people when I am in London - or return the favour to travellers who have hosted me on my travels.

Intereses

Reading, writing, hiking & running- basically generic twenty-something hobbies. I love to cook and go out to eat. I can cook for you! I am trying to improve my German after not bothering to talk it for two years- I have also been taking Arabic classes, which I want to carry on with in Berlin.

I have seen Nelson Mandela - he came to my hometown when I was small, so Mum let me have the day off school to go see him in the town centre.
