About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Give. Create. Love.

ABOUT ME

I like my life, I am a pretty happy person. I like to draw, sew, write and take pictures. I like to read, but I have a problem finding funds to buy English books overseas. I love to travel and learn more about the world. Life is good, I enjoy it.

PHILOSOPHY

Give, love, create. As long as I can create, give back to others, and love - my life, my work, and the people who touch my life, I'm a happy camper. That's pretty much all I need to do in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like biographies and books with beautiful pictures. I love music, I listen to all kinds. I like documentaries best. But honestly, I find people and our conversations much more interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a cancer survivor. I've whale watched in the Banderas Bay in Mexico, and I loved attending the re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo. Who knew I liked history so much? My husband proposed in Walter de Maria's art installation Lightning Field at sunset. So romantic and wonderful. Road tripping through the northern US for our honeymoon was a hilarious and delicious experience - though we quickly learned that we do not get on so well in the car. I started a pre-school program in Belgium.

Teach, Learn, Share

A smile can light up the world. Be kind - it makes life much easier. Never stop learning. Say yes to every opportunity. The world is a small place, lets be friends. Use all of your five senses at least once a day. Listen to others. Your world is a work of art.
