ABOUT ME

I enjoy life and I am of an inquiring mind. What makes me happy is to meet interesting people to have nice discussions with or simply share moments. I love dancing, sports and listening to music, I enjoy cooking... and everything else that makes life worth living.

PHILOSOPHY

The 3 R:s : Respect to others, Respect to oneself and responsibility for onces actions. Besides that I think it´s important to find a reason to laugh and have fun as often as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´d like to welcome people to my home and be welcomed by others to their homes, meet, share thoughts and experiences, cook together, maybe show my guest around and being part of them having a good experience in my hometown and hopefully a nice couch to sleep on:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences with CS has so far been great! I´ve hosted more than surfed but hope to have the chance to surf more in the future. So far I´ve met some wonderful people! Looking forward to more meeting and sharing:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing, or more or less miraculous, thing I´ve done is giving birth to my two wonderful daughters! Besides that... what I have discovered travelling and meeting people from different cultures is that the once who seem to have nothing have been the most generous people I´ve ever met. I think this is truly amazing and shakes my inner self. twice, ones in Africa, ones in India I was offered the family´s only belongings - their one and only hen! They prepared it for many hours and then the whole village gathered to watch me eat it;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I´d simply like to share with other people. It could be thoughts, cooking, dancing, visiting a historical place, a museum, going to a concert, a movie, playing football (yeah!...why not?) taking a bath in a finnish sauna or just have a coffee or a drink and a chat at a nice café or a bar. And if you want I can teach you some african dance steps;)
