Takes life as it comes.

I spend the last few years in the Netherlands studying and working after I traveled a few months through Asia (Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Indonesia). I got that wanderlust again and that is why I decided to quit my job and go for a new adventure. I am very interested in other cultures and I am always in for meeting new people and hear their stories. I am a social and calm person but I am always full of energy to discover new things or just for drinking some beers in a good pub. I will bring my good sense of humor with me wherever I go.

In the Netherlands we use the world 'gezellig' for people, moments of places that is nice or sociable . There is no exact translation of this word in English, I guess the word 'cozy' comes closest. But I am a 'gezellig' person and I am always trying to make it a 'gezellig' moment.

I heard a lot of good things about couchsurfing. I hope it will get me in contact with the locals and get that extra inside information about the culture and way of living.
